We are sorry you are experiencing problems with your rental truck.
We have put together a list of the most common issues and solutions.
If your problem is not listed, don't worry. We are here to help.
1. Check Liftgate Switch
Most of our trucks have a lift gate on/off switch on or below the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Make sure this switch didn't get bumped open accident or turned off on purpose.
2. Reset LiftGate fuse in battery box
3. Batteries
Make sure your batteries aren't dead. Does the truck start?
1. Reefer sends alarm after loading the truck.
If you just had the rear door open for an extended time and you are getting an error code this is most likely due to a rapid change in temperature. Turn the reefer off and turn it back on. This should clear the code.
If you know you will have the roll up door open for a while we suggest turning the reefer off during loading and then turning it back on afterwards to avoid error codes.
2. Other Reefer Alarms
Before giving us a call please clear all reefer codes and see if they go away.
These types of trucks won't stay running (idling) for more than 5 minutes as it can damage the engine. If you need the truck to stay running while it's parked you can override this safety feature by doing the following:
1. Press "Cruise Control On" button
2. Press ACCEL button and run RPM's up to about 1,000.
Then the truck will stay running.
